Following the successful launch of our Transporter Multi-Bed, we have made a universal fit one that has the same function and possitions but not vehicle specific. We have made 2 different sizes to suit small and medium vans, with a large one to follow.
Made from 18mm Phenolic plywood, this hard wearing furniture board is perfect for the tradesman to carry their tools and also be able to sleep in their van.
All edges are hand sanded, chamfered and varnished. Before carefully putting together by our skilled craftsmen.
It has a drawer that can handle 200kg!
You have the option for a small mid bulkhead, full size rear bulk head or flat as a bed.
This is a universal fit, so may require drilling and bolting though your floor.
Please take the time to check the measurements. The main thing is that the base will fit between the wheel arches. The top bed boards are the same width.
The standard position is how it is in the first picture with the mid height central bulkhead. This is locked into place using cam-locks. To put into the bed position, you need to simply unlock these, slide the legs out and pull it down flat into a bed position.
In this sliding motion, you also have the option of putting the large bulk head up. This also locks into position using the same cam-locks.
We have also designed this to take 2 drawers and this is an optional extra for those who have smaller tools/objects that they would like to organise. (pictures are for visual purposes only to show the double drawer as it is in a different unit).
